I am a visual artist, editorial designer, and researcher, based in Barcelona.
Images – Imageries – Imagination are three words that, together, encapsulate my current practice.
I am drawn to the contrast between the abstract and the concrete. The abstract as a macrosystem, the invisible structure, but also desire, the ideal. The concrete is the effect, the material, the physical, the ordinary and seemingly meaningless, the surface, and the body.
Thus, I am attentive to intuitive and trivial images of everyday life which trig emotions. Likewise, I search for archetypes and mental images to reveal questions related to the self, identity and belonging. I question collective imageries that reproduce stereotypes and conceal power dynamics. For me, imagination is a tool for re-signification and re-appropriation, a means to create other realities, even from a naïve position.
Images and design are interdependent in my work as both artist and professional. I consider photography a “fluid” medium that takes shape within a situated context. This means that I see the artwork as the outcome of design work—an essential part of the process.
My projects often include a research component, while the encounters and the dialogue are integral to them.
My work takes the form of artist books, installations, and expanded photography pieces, integrating
elements such as sculpture and sound.
I also study contemporary and independent publishing practices to identify experiences in which publishing transcends the object, blending with curation, mediation, or activism.
I am co-founder of Radial Radiant collective, with which I have created books—with a particular focus on books about artistic processes—works between video and performance, library activations, and workshops that implement different forms of collaboration.

Imágenes – Imaginarios – Imaginación son tres palabras que, juntas, resumen mi práctica actual.
Me atrae el contraste entre lo abstracto y lo concreto. Lo abstracto como macrosistema, estructura invisible, pero también deseo e ideal. Lo concreto es el efecto, lo material, lo físico, lo cotidiano y aparentemente insignificante, la superficie y el cuerpo.
Por ello, presto atención a las imágenes intuitivas y triviales de la vida cotidiana que despiertan emociones. Asimismo, busco arquetipos e imágenes mentales para revelar cuestiones relacionadas con el yo, la identidad y la pertenencia. Cuestiono los imaginarios colectivos que reproducen estereotipos y encubren dinámicas de poder.
Para mí, la imaginación es una herramienta de resignificación y reapropiación, un medio para crear otras realidades, incluso desde una posición naíf.
Las imágenes y el diseño son interdependientes en mi trabajo como artista y profesional. Considero la fotografía un medio “fluido” que se moldea en un contexto situado. Eso significa que veo la obra de arte como el resultado de un trabajo de diseño, como parte esencial del proceso.
Mis proyectos suelen incluir un componente de investigación, al tiempo que el encuentro y el diálogo son parte integral de ellos.
Mi trabajo se materializa en libros de artista, instalaciones y piezas de fotografía expandida, integrando
elementos como la escultura o el sonido.
También estudio las prácticas editoriales contemporáneas e independientes, para detectar experiencias en las que la editorial desborda el objeto, mezclándose con el comisariado, la mediación o el activismo.
Soy cofundadora del colectivo Radial Radiant, con el que he creado libros – con un enfoque particular en libros sobre procesos artísticos -, obras entre video y performance, activaciones de bibliotecas y talleres donde se implementan diferentes formas de colaboración.
